The main idea was not simply to create a portfolio, but to build a digital experience aligned with the studio’s style and the way it presents its interior design projects.
Designing a Digital Experience for an Interior Design Studio
Some time ago, I worked on the development of the website for Sofia Caero, a project focused on delivering a minimalist, elegant visual identity fully centered around visual content.
The main idea was not simply to create a portfolio, but to build a digital experience aligned with the studio’s style and the way it presents its interior design projects.
A Clean and Visual Approach
From the beginning, I aimed to maintain a simple and modern interface, prioritizing:
- spacious layouts
- minimalist typography
- smooth navigation
- and an experience focused on imagery and projects
In this type of website, every visual detail carries significant weight. The goal was to support the content without overwhelming the overall experience.
Development and Performance
The project was built using modern technologies focused on performance and scalability.
Stack used:
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
I also worked on image loading optimizations and responsive experience improvements to ensure fast navigation across both desktop and mobile devices.
AI Integration
One of the most interesting aspects of the project was the integration of an AI assistant directly into the website.
The system was developed using:
- Vercel AI SDK
- Groq
- RAG
- Embeddings
The idea was to provide a more interactive and modern experience by incorporating conversational capabilities directly into the platform.
Result
The final result was a modern, visual, and minimalist experience aligned with the studio’s identity, designed to showcase Sofía’s work in a more natural and professional way.
